Seedling number Z5-33-4. Parentage Paeonia delavayi var. lutea x Suffruticosa Gp ‘Ceng Zhong Xiao’. First year bloomed 2009; first propagated 2009. SEMI-DOUBLE. Two–3 flowers per stem, 9–15 cm in size (3½–6 inches). Flowers yellow with purplish-red flares, edges blurred and suffusing nearly throughout petals giving an orange effect. An average of 6 green carpels, sparsely hairy, having normally shaped red stigmas. Sheath complete, red. Has pollen bearing stamens, filaments red. Does not make seeds. Stems 70 to 110 cm (28–43 inches). Fragrant. Late season bloom. Mature plant may be in bloom for 20 days.
