First year bloomed 2012; first propagated 2013. SINGLE. Round flower bud. Flowers are up-facing, one per stem, 5–7 inches (13–18 cm) in size. Light purplish pink petals with dark lustrous purplish red flares, the edges blurred. The petals are generally rounded with relatively shallow central notch, and with margins lightly frilled and ruffled. An average of 5 pale green carpels, sparsely hairy, have normally shaped pale yellow stigmas. Sheath partial, white. Has pollen bearing stamens, filaments purple at the base, fading to very pale white at the tips. Fragrant. Midseason bloom. Plant height to 77 inches (196 cm) with upright growth habit. The name is inspired by the guard petals being relatively flat and extending out like a saucer, while the inner petals rise up vertically, both of them contributing to a vivid picture of a fairy dressing, holding a mirror.
