Parentage unknown. First bloomed 1999. JAPANESE flower form. Thirteen guard petals on average, with a center of bright rosy pink petaloids having yellow edges and tips. Chartreuse carpels with bright pink stigmas. Stems to 30 inches (75 cm) with upright growth habit; leaves narrow. Midseason flowering, but side buds extend the bloom season. Named for originator’s grandmother, registrant’s great-grandmother. Salome Wagner was a commercial gardener in southern Indiana before settling in Gray County, KS.
