Seedling No. NB-H122. Parentage: ‘Necromancer’ x ‘Pink Luau’. First bloomed 2009, first propagated 2012. Medium sized DOUBLE lavender flowers, 5½ inches (14 cm), 3-5 per stem. Carpels mostly absent, rarely 1 or 2, but when present, green and smooth. Stigmas light green, and fertile when morphology allows. Has produced occasional seeds. Stamens sometimes present, but pollen is scant, filaments yellow. Disc nearly imperceptible. Fragrance. Foliage is deep green, reaches nearly to the ground, and holds well through the season. Very sturdy stems hold heavy flowers upright without support. Stem height 30 inches (76 cm). Excellent growth rate. Named for the large and bright globular star cluster, Omega Centauri.
