Lavender

Single. Light pinkish lavender, bright, average sized flowers, white pistils with red tops. 22″ tall.

I used to grow it once, this was the whole plant just before flowering. It did look alright at the time and had grown fine for a few years, but further in that Summer the foliage started to dry up and by the time I dug it in Fall, most of the crown had rotted and that was the end of Lavender for me.

  And a close-up of the bud. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of an open flower that season.
