Trans-Caucasia, also know as the South Caucasus.
Location: Situated south of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, this area acts as a bridge between Europe and Asia, bordered by Russia to the north, Turkey and Iran to the south, the Black Sea to the west, and the Caspian Sea to the east.
Constituent Nations: The region is composed of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
Geography: It is characterized by the southern part of the Greater Caucasus, the entire Lesser Caucasus range, and lowlands like the Colchis and Kura-Aras.
