Seedling 99/033. Parentage: Raised from open polliated mixed Gansu Mudan seeds. First bloomed 1999. First propagated 2014. SEMI-DOUBLE with 3 rows of petals. One flower per stem, 18 cm (7″) in size. Pink petals with black flares extending 20% the petal’s length. Flares have a blurred edge. Petals are cupped. Carpels white, moderately hairy, 5 in number. Stigmas same shade as petals, normal anatomy. Pollen-bearing stamens, filaments pink at base, white at tip. Sheath pink red, complete. Fragrance. Blooms early/mid-season. Typical Gansu Mudan foliage. Spreading upright growth to 130 cm (51″). Like its sister seedlings ‘Quintett’, ‘Mattinata’, and ‘Amabile’, a healthy and vigorous plant. To be propagated and distributed by W.
