Seedling NC4-04. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2010, first propagated 2012. SINGLE with two rows of guard petals, one or two flowers per stem, flower size 5 inches (13 cm). Guard petals are white with a creamy undertone (RHS 155D). They are smoothly rounded, but with folding which gives a wavy effect and adds a feeling of volume to the bloom. Has fragrance. Carpels are pale green with light red stigmas. Has pollen bearing stamens and will make seeds. Blooms early midseason. Average height at maturity 32 inches (81 cm), no support needed. The wavy, ruffled petals of the flower evoke the elegance of a wedding dress, hence the name.
