Seedling No. 2004-45. Parentage not given. First year bloomed 2004, first propagated 2004. Full DOUBLE, bright pink, normally only 1 flower per stem, 5½ inches in size (14 cm). Described by originator as “Bud type, flower does not open completely, this creates a very solid flower shape, lingers very long in the vase.” Slow opener and opens late. No fragrance. Stamens, pollen, and seeds. Early foliage on emergence from ground, red. Height to 39 inches (100 cm). Free standing, narrow upright growth habit. The name comes from a character in Richard Wagner’s Opera “Die Feen.”
