CC-1-1, which descends two generations down from Coral Charm. Many sidebuds and a better stature, but of course a single flower and a totally different colour.
2 CommentsNice to see these plants from Hans. I have quite a number of seedlings I’ve bloomed using Hans’ CC-3 pollen (a first generation from Coral Charm) which he was kind enough to send me several years ago. This was the year that they all bloomed : some showed signs of coral color, or interesting and uncommon shades of pink, and I crossed them all among each other this spring. Here at home I have a few tetraploid seedlings involving the triploid Raspberry Charm, which I believe to be related to Coral Charm, and I used pollen from these CC-3 crosses on them too. It will be exciting to see what comes of these crosses, but ultimately the credit goes to Hans for making these difficult Coral Charm crosses to begin with.

It does fade into a soft peach yellow, quite attractive when you have all stages of the flower on the same plants I must say.
