Can’t grow a thing, but in love with Peonies for about a decade. An illusive dream, beyond reach, bar the few cut specimens imported, to wither and die, from far, far away. I want to grow some in my mother’s garden. When I have my own home, I want them all round, majestic blooms or rich, deep green leaves, equally beautiful. Maybe they will be my start to re-touching the earth, re-breathing the sky.
