It’s still several months before we see these pretty flowers again. To smoothen the long wait, here’s a future peony registration. This is a mutation (aka sport) from Rozella. It has all the fine characteristics of Rozella: healthy plants with dark green foliage, extremely sturdy stems, large and pretty flowers. But instead of being dark pink, here we have a pale pink one, fading slowly towards white as you can see in the images. I haven’t found a name for it, there’s no hurry as I still have only a very few plants (isolating the mutation resulted in a very very small division to be sure there would be no trace left of Rozella, we don’t want another ‘Mr Ed’).
