A nice unregistered plant in bloom here. Still in the midst of ‘species season’, thus really early. This plant is the result of P. lactiflora President Lincoln x P. wittmanniana , a cross made by Roberto Gamoletti @roberto . P. wittmanniana is the species that contributes the earliness obviously.This is the third year after planting the division received. I very much like it, good height, sturdy upright stems, floriferous, well closed buds of good size, nice flower colour and flower size. The foliage is like others in this line of crossing (lacti x wittmann), I have Mai Fleuri for example, same foliage more or less, but Mai Fleuri flowers much later (though still early). There is a sister seedling also from Pres Lincoln x P. wittmann, but that one is also later blooming. So early in the season, this is a standout in my opinion.
