Seedling # MI213. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2000, first propagated 2004. ANEMONE. Glowing medium pink guard petals with a hint of mauve, center mound the same. Two to three flowers per stem, 6 inches in diameter (15 cm), guards are near 2 ½ inches wide. Two to four green carpels, smooth. Stigmas red-pink. No pollen, but seed fertile. Fragrance. Medium green to dark green foliage, narrow pointed leaflets. Upright growth to 39 inches (100cm), yet a pronounced degree of breadth to the bush due to the profusion of stems. Blooms midseason. Mechanical support not needed. Named for an ancestor.
