Some photos from this season, all species have finished blooming. This is P. japonica. Flower colour somewhat greenish pale yellow. Didn’t see it open, as the flower was destroyed to hybridize with it.
Now registered: Strong Coral. Formerly known as OFF-4. As young plant single to semi-double, when older semi-double to nearly full double.
Peak bloom time. First one shown is Mieke Bral. Second one as yet unnamed, Mieke Bral F2. Third one is Christine Carrette.
Nelda’s Joy. Within this group (the ones resembling Salmon Dream), it is the best IMHO. Closed buds, rather double, upright. Not the fastest increaser though.
