This flowered some time ago, although one of the later flowering species always here. P. arietina, obtained as a division from Janis Ruksans. P. arietina has either finer, somewhat more divided leaflets or wider, less divided leaflets depending on the geographical location, this one clearly has the wider ones. Not shown here is that P. arietina has ‘tuberous’ roots, thus the swollen root parts are attached to the crown by a thinner small root part instead of the so-called ‘carrot shaped’ roots that gradually become thinner away from the crown (as you may see in P. mascula with which it has been confused before). It is sometimes difficult to separate from P. officinalis (with which it shares the tuberous roots), at least when you have a specimen (from Eastern Turkey for example) which has more divided and finer leaflets, which is thus not the case here. The main discerning character is the tomentose sepals (the green surroundings of the flower), which are mostly glabrous in P. officinalis or rarely only very sparsely tomentose.
