Not completely sure what this is. Received it as ‘unknown’, but from wild collected seeds in former Yugoslavia. P. velebitensis, P. mascula, P. daurica? This is a first year plant so it may well change the following years, perhaps then I’ll be able to tell what it is, but I find it already rather attractive.

Paeonia japonica. Needs a lot of shade. Slow increase. Most greenish buds I’ve seen in species.
