A beautiful plant which I received from @roberto (Roberto Gamoletti) three years ago. An unnamed selection from the cross Fairfield x Little Dorrit. It has P. peregrina-like foliage and I very much like the color of the flower. Easy growing also.
One of Hans Maschke’s masterpieces now in bloom here: Andreas Maschke (from Bartzella x Lemon Chiffon, thus an intersectional backcross!). As it grows older, the flowers tend to become much larger and more double. Really impressive I think…

Paeonia sterniana. Seedling.
Two survived at my place. One from seeds (see picture) and one seedling.
The seedlings were too dry and the others didn’t grow at all.
I learned that sterniana hates to grow in a greenhouse. It needs the outdoors humidity.
(wish I had knew this before!)
Placed outdoors it’s trouble free and recovered from looking poor. (until yet
)
Paeonia obovata alba Gun Su Che. Stigma‘s same colour like P. japonica?
We try to trace its origin but failed until yet.
Probably a plant from the former nursery Chen Yi- Load More Posts

Great to see it’s doing fine with you! Lost one of two last Winter here. The last one has decreased in size as well, I hope for survival now.
