Amirani (unregistered). P. caucasica x unknown. Flowers at the same time as P. caucasica. More leaflets than that species.
A new book by Gail Harland. Don’t know yet if it’s good, have only glanced through it for a few minutes. It seems well researched with a long overview of the species. The history of the peony also and the use of them in art. When I’m through reading it, I can perhaps tell some more.

Paeonia tomentosa ssp archibaldii (aka P. archibaldii).
Peonies are growing well here. Dry warm weather, very little rain, not too windy, cold nights. More or less perfect circumstances thus and the ones above ground are looking really great, such a difference with last year. Here some interesting pretty ones.
