Paeonia japonica. Needs a lot of shade. Slow increase. Most greenish buds I’ve seen in species.

Many years ago I got my first plants of P. caucasica grown from seeds I had received from Will McLewin (UK). One of the seedlings was different from all others. An unusual form of P. caucasica which has 11 leaflets on the largest leaves. Otherwise identical to the species.
