]]> 0 fdf1c6c55ee7d7a81ebd4f073802ce0b I am posting an image of Andreas Maschke (B3) flowering in my garden. Very nice plant, herbaceous in appearance, very similar to its pollen parent. The flowers have pollen and carpels. I have used its pollen on so called fertile itohs to increase the tree peony characters and obtain fertile backcrosses. I tried it also on herbaceous hybrids like Blushing Princess and Old Faithful and got a few seeds last year. I have pollinated B3 with other similar peonies like B2 and B1 but results are still to come. I have a couple of seedlings from Andreas Maschke open pollinated still very small.
